Human interactions are usually guided by social norms. To bring robots (or other artificial agents) closer to human societies they should be able to learn from, and reason about human norms. In this talk, Dr. Stevan focusses on the (1) representation of abstract norms (in a context) suitable for both humans and computational agents, (2) on how can agents reason about those norms, and (3) how they can learn normative behaviors from norms specifications. Finally, certain connections to cognitive science are discussed.
