How to make computers see, understand what they see and act upon it? How difficult is to develop Computer Vision and Machine Learning systems to interpret images and solve tasks like detection, recognition and tracking? How our biological vision system inspired an infinitude of techniques for solving those tasks? This is an introductory presentation about Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques, including the recently rising area of Deep Learning.
